19 Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
I. Forget The Past (v.18)
18 “Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
a. Pains
b. Victories

Application: Don’t Place God in a box which says what He has done is all He can do; or capable of doing.
II. Focus on God’s Power (v.19)
19 Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.
a. His promise of New Things
b. Not what we can do but what He can do
c. Now, springs forth- He is a right now God
d. Wilderness –He’ll make away
e. River in Dry places
Application: Trust the power of God. Believe God can do anything. Do not go into next year doubting the abilities of God. Perceive God doing new things in your life. See it, Believe it and Trust it.
III. Follow Through With Praise (v.21)
21 the people whom I formed for myself
that they might declare my praise.
Isaiah reminds Israel that God formed Israel for Himself. God chose them so that they would stand out. God created them for himself.
God says that their purpose is to praise Him.
