The easy part, getting you and me out of Egypt, the hard part, getting Egypt out of me

In six days God created the heavens and the earth, the rest in dealing with you and me

Exodus 12:13 was their ticket out, the redemption blood of the lamb, Exodus is to be taken out of where you were, and to be taken to another place

Exodus… Latin, from Greek Exodos, literally, road out, from ex- + hodos road, exit sign is literally, “the out road.” If God did not make the road, there is no way out.

God took them out of Egypt, quickly gave them His law, filled their pockets to overflowing with money and stuff, with no place to spend it, and at Canaan’s borders in 11 months, but they spent 40 years in the wilderness. 40 means testing, and 40 years is 440 months, 11 months is 2.5% of 440 months.

His will was 11 months, their will was 40 years, and death in the desert.

Psalm 105:37 brought them out with silver and gold. Silver is first, and silver means redemption, redemption first and then the glory of gold.

Genesis 15:14 God promised to Abraham to bring them out with “great substance.”

The promise to Abraham came before the law. God’s laws are right, but the promise comes before the law. Tithing came before the law, Abraham & Melchizedek, Genesis 14

Obey today, or sorrow tomorrow!!!

Bishop said he was going to initiate a spiritual “jail break.”  

For us to have a “jail break,” we must begin to obey what God has told us to do.
