My vision for Allegan Bible Church is to be a church who is utterly sold out for the gospel of Christ. Fully commited to following Him whatever that means for you and your family living in harmony with the rest of the body of believers. That ABC would be a church characterized by real true Bible preaching but more then that real true gospel changed and directed lives that make an impact for His kingdom with everyday eternity in mind. I see this being fulfilled in us as we seek to live out the great 2 commandments in tangible ways.

Big Idea of the Message: The Mission of EVERY church is to spread the message of the grace of God bringing salvation to all through Jesus and giving us the ability to grow in faith and holiness.
Application Point: I will spread the message of saving grace as I cling to this grace for my own growth in righteousness and hope for my future!
INTRODUCTION. This is one of the clearest passages in the Bible on the grace of God and its results in us. A Christian is one who has been ACTED upon by the LOVE of God in His GRACE.
11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, 12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, 13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. 15 Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.
PRAYER
God our father in heaven we thank you for this day and ask that you would help to clarify for us the message of the church today. Your message is one of salvation by grace through faith and that this grace does not end there but rather extends to the rest of our lives on into eternity. God you are so good to us and we praise you for the grace you extend.

I have 3 tattoos… I got them years ago but they remain today...
At New Year’s, people make all sorts of resolutions: to lose weight, save more money, be more present for people, and so on. But do we think about faith resolutions? About strengthening our faith through grace in the coming year? Throughout Christian history, the church has practiced “means of grace” to grow in faithfulness and holiness, gifts given by God to help us grow in grace. Most notably these “means of grace” have included Scripture, prayer, and the sacraments/ordinances… Let us not focus on just this year, let me ask you, is your life marked by this grace?
The Sealing
We are a peculiar; purchased and possessed people.
The Seeking
We watch, wait and worship Jesus.
The Speaking
We declare, defend and delight in this message.

A Christian is one who has been ACTED upon by the LOVE of God through His GRACE.
This LOVE ACT of God is our message to the world showing that they too can be:

PRAYER
Father as we are saved by grace through faith we are also sanctified through this same grace and marked by this grace for future glory. Your Grace, your unmerited favor to us saves, sustains, and seals us and that is the message of your gospel. Help us to be clear with our own salvation as well as being clear with our own message to the world in which we live.
