Mission

Unchanging command - Timeless, valid any time, any where, any people/culture
Being on Mission with Jesus is a non-negotiable for Christians individually and collectively
In a past year of restrictions and curtailments, we learn from our brothers and sisters who live this everyday
In all cases and circumstances, ONE thing remains unchanged and unchangeable - Jesus Christ is LORD.
Because he is the Lord of ALL his gospel, his church, his mission is unstoppable and uncontainable.
The gospel of our Lord Jesus advances every time, every where, amongst every people
Jesus Christ is Lord of a triumphant church declaring a triumphant gospel from the lips of a triumphant people - WE ARE that church, proclaiming that gospel, from our lips and lives
Matthew 28:16–20 ESV
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Vision

Changing circumstance - Time bound, confined to a particular time, place and people/culture
Isaiah 40:25–26 ESV
25 To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One. 26 Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of his might and because he is strong in power, not one is missing.
John 4:35 ESV
35 Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.
