Solider knows may be called on upon to give life…did you know that as Christians we may be called upon to give our lives for Jesus.

Memorial day…important to remember what has happened to lead us where we are today.  History of the Church is marked by many people laying down their lives for what they believe.

Reason for their willingness…sometimes eagerness to die for this things called Christianity-devotion to Jesus Christ. Knew there was something special, important…powerful about Him.

Hope gained some appreciation for how important this thing called church is. How much people have given to preserve what we have today. How important it is for us all to continue seeking God(prayer, Word, fellowship…all the things of the church) Believed in (embraced) the promises of God…eternal life

Whoever will save his life will lose it…
