The Power Of Hope (2)

Rom.5:3-5,

Romans 5:3–5 NLT

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Power - (dunamis) needed in every area of our life to really grow in sanctification & get us ready for Heaven.

My Hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus blood & His righteousness...

HOPE - Expectation, Certainty…Not wishing for something, but Believing for it! Full assurance or confident

A cord(an attachment)

HOPE - an act of Faith that births Obedience to the Word of God.

HOPE - Empowers you to stand in the face of adversity & come out Victorious.

Living Hope - hope that has power to produce change in your life.

…I hope so, I hope not, hopefully...

Rom.15:13,

Romans 15:13 NLT

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor.15:19,

1 Corinthians 15:19 NLT

And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.

It is HELL w/o HOPE

There are some ppl in the Bible who persevered because of their faith & hope…Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses…they pressed…Moses didn’t even receive the promise.

COVID, Losses (job, marriage, finances, children) 2020 in general...

1 Pet.3:15,

1 Peter 3:15 The Message

Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy.

It’s easy to become despondent (depressed, discouraged)

The enemy will bring negativity upon you & have you thinking that everybody but you is being blessed, favored…ain’t nothing go right for me...

Life doesn’t seem fair…roadblocks…cracks...

Real Hope can’t be extinguished or put out, but will endure any situation. Hope will pull you through any situation or circumstance.

Hope gives you that drive to keep going...even when you want to quit, it makes the impossible possible & the unattainable attainable.

HOPE - allows your mind to gravitate towards a positive outcome...HOPE is the anchor that keeps your soul grounded.

When things don’t go the way you feel or think, reach back to HOPE & declare that, “ I believe everything will work out for my good”...”It will end well”.
