We see safety and security in numbers, God has consistently avoided that

The LORD has chosen to work through the weak to show Himself strong, Ex Gideon

            started with 32,000 men, The LORD pared down to 300, less than 1%, Judges 7:2

Jeremiah 23:3 bringing the remnant back to be fruitful and increase

Genesis 1:27-28, the first commandment that God gave Adam was to be fruitful and

            multiply, we as His Church have been commanded to be fruitful and multiply

            but sin in the camp will keep that from happening

The LORD has been purging us, so that we can be fruitful

John 15:1-5 purgeth, to prune dead wood, right back to the branches

            and the concept of pruning,

To abide is to remain, it is to live there

The root of the church is Christ, and the teaching of the Apostles and the Prophets, but

            God is not going to pile dead wood on this holy foundation

Ephesians 2:18-22 foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, ungodliness will not stand

            when it is attempted to be placed upon the holy foundation

It is the remnant that will stand, not all the corporate church

1 John 2:19-20 that it might be made manifest, that they were not all of us
