Delivered Into Your Ministry 04/27/05

·         Your ministry will not happen when you are stuck in your past

·         Past failures, and lifestyle will cripple any present ministry

·         This past Saturday we discussed some of this

·         Of being delivered to the point where the vision that God has placed within you can be set free

·         Mark 5:1-20 and the Madman of the Gadarenes

·         He was bound to his past

·         He was naked and this is a tactic of the enemy to shame us into not stepping out in faith, shame and unworthiness is not from God

·         Set free, and instead of Jesus letting him go with him, he sent him back as an Evangelist to the Decapolis, or the Ten Cities that were Gentiles, and I would say that a revival broke out from this man’s testimony

·         Your point of greatest failure often becomes the nexus of your ministry

·         As we grow in The Lord, our ministries will grow also

·         Don’t seek a great ministry, seek a great relationship with The LORD, and the ministry will follow, we are the tail trying to wag the dog!!!

·         Relationship first and then ministry

·         Jesus’s ministry stemmed from his intimate relationship with The Father, and that did not occur just because he was the Son of Man

·         Jesus spent many early morning hours in prayer with His Father, THIS is relationship

·         Jesus knew The Word because He was in The Word, and this became the cornerstone of his ministry
