We’ve Had Setbacks!

The circumstances of 2020 chucked our 2020 goals out the window!
We were supposed to be working to set up Bible studies and get our average weekly attendance up.
2020 put and pin in that!
It’s time to pull the pin and get back to work!

We Have To Move Forward!

Through no fault of our own (?) we went the wrong direction.
We’re going to have to do some hard work just to get back to where we were before the pandemic.
We’re gong to have to work all the more to move forward!

2021 Theme: A Time to Build

We’ll have regular lessons to help us focus on:
Building up the church
Hebrews 8:5 NKJV
5 who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, “See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.”
Building up stronger Christians
Galatians 2:20 NKJV
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Building up stronger families (Eph. 5:22-6:3).
Ephesians 5:22–6:3 NKJV
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. 31For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”
Building up stronger evangelism (Mark 16:15-16).
Mark 16:15–16 NKJV
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
Building up stronger unity (Rom. 12:10).
Romans 12:10 NKJV
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
Building up stronger Bible students (2 Tim. 2:15).
2 Timothy 2:15 NKJV
15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

That’s a lot to do, so let’s get busy!
