False Prophets and their ‘dreams’ or visions or ideas are to be avoided
Do not be deceived by leaders among you who are proclaiming or teaching falseness
Avoid what is false, cling to the truth of God . (This means you must know God’s Word well and distinguish between it and false philosophies, ideas, and teachings.)
God is faithful in His promises and His timing
God has His own timing for His plan and purposes
God’s discipline is to lead His people back (restore) to right and close relationship with Him
His Word and faithful leaders are given to His people so that they may know how to follow Him (He is a good God who wants us to know Him and trust Him)
God hates false teaching in His name and the disobedience produced by it
God’s punishment goes out to both false prophets and those who disobeyed Him and followed what is false
God’s people are to pay attention to His words
God’s faithful prophets and leaders of His people will be in conflict with those that are attempting to lead His people astray
God’s people who are loyal to Him will have moments of clashing and separation from those that are not faithful to Him
