Jesus Will Return!

And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Will this be a secret thing?

He is coming like a thief in the night 1 Thessalonians 5:2

We are to live like we believe He will return!

We are people of the day

1 Thessalonians 5:4–5 NASB95

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness;

But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled and put on the armor of faith and love, and a helmet of the hope of salvation.

We are to warn others of His return

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

Do we tell other people this by our words or actions?

1 Corinthians 9:27 NASB95

but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

Why will some not listen?

Stubbornness

Pride

No desire to change

I have time

Are you prepared for His return?
