Ephesians 6:10-20

It must be established that the devil exists!

Everything is us or systems, but we have denied his power.

Strong Christian. Firm.

Moments perpetually overcome you. Doubts paralyze you. Temptations get you. New ideas dissuade you. Weakness of thought.

Standing Firm.

Mind

Conduct

Experience

Love

The Truth - not your truth. Revelation of God in Jesus. . Truth that dispels lies. Both.

Breastplate of righteousness - Firm

Darts - false guilt, thoughts of lust, disobedience, malice, or fear.

Individual.

Short Sword rather than long sword. Hand to hand combat.

What is the big BIG takeaway from this passage? 1 year from now?

Armored on. I’m just not armed. To be armed, i need to think about my salvation. did I put it on? Thinking oriented around salvation. Called. Special privilege.

Wrestle. It takes taking off. It takes somewhat discomfort to put on.

Standing. Thinking.

Remove the helmet of salvation and you lose sight of what everything is about. What church is about. What praying is about. I don’t know.

The big dealness of it all. When we lose sight of it. We’re done. It’s not about magic. It’s about wrestling.

Truth - sincerity. Wrestle. Wrestle big time. Push yourself. Wait… if this is true. I’m not believing this all the way. I’ve got ways to go.
