Introduction: The Multitudes Follow Jesus and His Disciples

The Disciples report to Jesus.
Jesus tells them to come aside and rest.
The Multitudes went on ahead and were waiting for them.
Mark 6:31 NKJV
And He said to them, “Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.
Are you following Jesus?

He Began to teach them many things for some time

The Disciples ask Him to send the multitude away hungry

Jesus tells the 12 to give them something to eat, which is a test

The Disciples wrongly think He wants them to go buy food

Jesus asks them to find out how much food there is.

Five small loaves and two fish is all they could find.
Mark 6:38 NKJV
But He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.”

Jesus Feeds the 5,000 with one small meal

They take up 12 baskets full of fragments!
Do you think Jesus Christ could perform miracles in your life today - to meet your needs?

Conclusion: Jesus is the Bread of Life!
