The Miricale

The miricale Jesus brought this day was not everyone simply getting just a littel piece of bread like communion. No in fact when they came looking for Jesus later He answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves (John 6:26)
The text infact records:
“So also the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.” 13 So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten.”
This was a miricale of multiplication. Jesus could have easily just said for them to go home or let them fast for a day. This was not major event of dispair. These folks were not dieing or in desprate need.
Yet Jesus saw this as an opertunity to teach His disciples. Teach them about faith and how to opperate in ministry even from a deficate. Do you ever feel like you are operating from a deficate? Does life’s demands pull on what you cannot provide? I believe God wants us to get to a place sometimes where we cannot do it all.
It’s in moments like these that where God says now that you can’t give them you maybe you can give them me?
