Introduction:
Often sports teams that excel will have a player that can perform under almost any circumstances.
Someone to whom all eyes turn when the game is almost over and the score is down.
Someone that when things are getting tough, the coach says, if all else fails get the ball to so and so.
When I was in college, there was one of those kinds of players on the basketball team.
His name was David Loewer.
He was tall, he was good, and he consistently delivered.
He was the one who when things were going rough, would pull the team together and bring the victory.
He got the nickname, “The Tower of Power, David Loewer.
He was to that team what Michael Jordon was to the Chicago Bulls.
“When all is said and done, just get the ball to Loewer!”
This morning we are going to see that in the Christian life, when all is said and done, God is the One Who consistently delivers.
Especially when times get tough!
When everything else that we’ve tried fails, we find that we our Heavenly Father never fails.
Big Idea: God never fails His children.
1 Peter 5:10-14 (read it)
Four things, that when all is said and done, God will do.
When everyone else has failed, God will not fail.

A. Suffering is not forever-
1.

2. This literally means, “a little while.”
