After the gospel began to spread to the Gentiles (Acts 10ff), it was the Gentile Christians that became the stronger makeup of the church.

Jesus would be the light to the nations (2 Cor. 5:21; Luke 2:30).

The Messiah was for the salvation of the world - Jew and Gentile (Matt. 4:12-16).
