Apostle paul was trying to tell the gentile christian that we cant be judged by the law again but by the spirit. And also telling the Jewish christian that we are not under the law, we are now walking in the spirit of God.

Why are we condernmed

He judged us because he compare our righteouness with God. Filthy rag.

Isaiah 64:6 KJV But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
