What is the desired goal for who you are?

good / bad…
without focus, we are only experiencing
We all need a model - someone who embodies what we would like to become...
Of course the Lord Jesus is the perfect example - but we need a visual...
Christian brother or sister that is a mature believer
A Godly parent / grandparent
A Christian that you admire
You cannot be focused if you do not know what you are looking at...
Faith
Faith is what we build upon...
We do not build up ourselves and try to add our faith in… our faith is not a supporting wall, faith is our foundation
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

But if we are just doing without being, we will be miserable and unsuccessful.
as the new year rolls around, I always restart my bible reading in Genesis - I see how God blessed some individuals mightily… Abraham, Issac -
100 fold - Issac - in one year...
If God could bless one man 100 fold in 1 year, could he not do it again in 2021?
