The Right Stuff

I. Introduction
Last Sunday was a supremely important day! Of all the different things I could have preached, the Lord set the precedence for He wanted you to receive last week.
He didn’t want me to stand here and ramble on about me. There will be plenty of Sundays for you all to hear my testimony.
He gave me the vision for FGWWC Beaufort and that was the absolute, most important message he wanted you to hear!
I talked with some of you after the service last week, here are some of the comments you made about last week: “I have some ideas; that was perfect, that was the foundation.”
2. Later that evening, after making it back home, we got settled, kicked up our feet for a little while to recuperate from an exciting day.
First Lady received a call from First Lady to see how our first Sunday went. I pretty much heard lots of laughing and a few words in between. I guess I needed an interpretation!
3. A little later, I called Pastor Holmes at 8:00 pm. He was a little busy at the time, so he called me back at 8:05 pm.
Folks, let me tell you something…I can’t stress enough how important this call was for me and this ministry. Because now I’m about to find out if what I preached, what I had a witness of in my spirit regarding the church logo, the vision, and the confirmations, whether it was of God or not.
Was I lead by the Spirit or was it confirmation bias? I was sure my beloved pastor was going to let me know! Y’all know he is not one to spare the rod right?
Now, I’m on the phone with the big man on campus, the visionary, the apostle and founder of the ministry.
4. I started our conversation by telling pastor the title of my message; “Reaching The World With The Word - The Vision Within The Vision”. He liked that! I then told him I shared the vision for Beaufort with the members today, he said, “Okay”. It was a good okay, not the other one where he says OKAYYY. You know the one that has 3 y’s at the end along with the look!
I began to lay out the key points of the message to pastor. I started by recalling to him what he told me months before I started here, “Seek the Lord in prayer about He wants you to grow the ministry in Beaufort.” I stated to him sometime later, I thought about what he told me do again. These words came up in my spirit, “There can be no growth without any seeds sown.” Pastor said, “That’s true.
I told him on Dec. 11, 2020 at 5:00 pm, I believe I was in our bedroom looking out the window and an image came up in my spirit, I asked him to guess what it was, He said, “What?” I told him the church logo! He laughed with excitement!
I laid out the remaining details of the message: The details of church logo which revealed the vision for this church, repeated the actual vision to him and how it fits into the global vision God gave him for Full Gospel Word and Worship Center.
Lastly, I explained to him how I saw the way I was led to reveal the vision to you all; by symbolically sharing it with you the way Jesus fed the 5000. He loved how that was done.
Okay saints, no more suspense! Pastor accepted and approved the vision for Beaufort with enthusiasm!!!
Saints of God this is a historic and significant spiritual victory for me as your pastor; and a monumental time for this ministry. This is a fantastic start to a beautiful relationship!
Come and stand to your feet and lets give the Lord some praise!!!
Oh and by the way, guess what pastor preached on this past Sunday? Vision!!!
II. Body:
What’s Next
It was of utmost importance that the vision I received in my spirit was indeed from God. Secondly, that we have Pastor Holmes’ seal of approval as well! So, again, last Sunday was a monumental success for the mission and the history of Full Gospel. Saints you have a new year, a new pastor and a new, fresh vision. Hey! That’s a Trifecta!
Now that the vision for the ministry has been established, we can evaluate what happens next.
The vision itself is our blueprint in which we will follow to bring glory to the Lord. The great thing about a blueprint is that it gives specific information about how something should be designed.
So, as we move forward, we can refer to the blueprint to make sure everything that comes forth is according to the specifications of the blueprint.
To successfully fulfill the vision will certainly require that we all be on one accord, with singleness of mind and heart in a constant state of readiness of heart to support the vision.
It all starts with a strong foundation in which everything will stand. That foundation must be strong and solid enough to support the weight the ministry.
1 Corinthians 3:8–15 AV
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. 9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
b. Sacrifices:
i. Prayer
James 5:16 AV
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Ephesians 6:18 AV
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Pray for me, your pastor, that I will continue to hear God’s voice, be led by the Holy Spirit, be in good health, be in good wealth, pray for my marriage and my family; so I can effectively lead the charge for this vision
Pray for the success of the vision
Pray over the grounds of this church (as a corporate church designate a set time to do this every month)
Pray for the harvest that God has ordained for this church
ii. Availability
Matthew 9:37–38 AV
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Your availability is more important than your ability. Training and instruction in righteousness can sharpen and develop your abilities. But if you are not available, there is nothing to develop.
The same affect exists if you are present in body and absent in spirit.
Isaiah 1:19 KJV 1900
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
iii. Committed to Training
Mark 16:15 AV
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
EST Training - Will consist of training in:
1. Salvation - which is training in leading others to Christ
2. Administering the Holy Spirit - which is getting others filled with the Holy Spirit.
3. Healing - which is training in using your faith to get others healed
iv. Finances
Malachi 3:10 AV
10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
First and foremost, if you receive an income we all should be tithing and giving offerings.
Regarding the vision that the Lord has given us. That will require special offerings designated to support the vision.
III. CONCLUSION:
Saints of God, let’s run with this vision. Let’s take ownership of it. Let us together bring forth a 100-fold return on what has been ordained and sanctioned by our Heavenly Father. Let us glorify his name with the fruit of our willingness and obedience in this mission!
