Who Is Stephen and the Persecution of Stephen

Was empowered to be a leader to “serve tables” or meet the day to day needs of the Church.
Stephen isn’t a popular Christian or someone on the front lines. He is your average guy just helping the Church meet the basic needs of the congregation.
“Serving Tables” is not an easy or glamorous task but it’s a task that is important for the Church to accomplish. That’s doing something like being a part of set up and tear down. That’s doing something like being a part of the greeter team here.
What if we as Christians were willing to do those mundane task? It’s through these mundane task that Stephen sees the spirit moving.
People were upset with Stephen and they were convicted by the Holy Spirit (Acts 6:10)
