Psalm 46: 8 - 11 Be Still and Know That I Am God Verses 8 and 9 show us that God will bring an _____ to wars against His people. It is a clear reference to the Battle of Armageddon, when all the armies of the earth will be aligned against Israel. At that time, Jesus, Himself, shall enter the picture, and ________ all the united and congregated enemies of Israel But verse 10 is one of the most quoted and stated verses in Scripture: Be still, and know that I am God. Be still? ______? Yes, us. Remember the crossing of the Red Sea. What are we wrestling with at this point in our life? Have we seen God work on our lives ________ times before? Do we believe God is faithful? Do we believe God is _________ of working out whatever problem we have now? Are we __________ to be still, and let Him do His work, in His time. As much as we may like to think that we can handle everything that comes our way, that isn't possible. There are times that we _______ allow God to work on and in and through, while we are still.
