Sermon Tone Analysis

so,

We we come to our last week, we kind of introduce Genesis this week.

We are really going to dive into Genesis.

I'm really looking forward to this study and end by show of hands.

How many of you are really enjoying our a reading through the Book of Genesis?

I mean are you starting to see some real life things just pop out and how God deals with real people?

In real ways, real situations, I've been enjoying it going through that with you and and as we begin Genesis, there is a phrase, the very beginning in the beginning.

God created that that's raised right.

There is a powerful powerful phrase That does the concept of a creation God bringing into existence that which was, was not.

There is now made, life, is brought into it and I love that when we look at first one, we see that in rice is life.

And here we see God creating life and and we're going to be going through that.

I love what the psalmist says the psalmist.

In Psalm 33, look at these first with his 33 verse 6 that says by the word of the Lord.

The heavens were made and by the breath of his mouth, all their hoes, jump down the first nine.

And it says, for he spoke and it was done.

He commanded and it stood fast.

As we look at at creation today, we are looking at God speaking and creation occurring.

I love the story of a god, having a conversation with scientists and scientist came and said you know, God you're you're really not that necessary anymore and God's like well, why is that?

They said well because we have discovered how to make life from non-life really well.

Show me an insult, they reach down and they grab some dirt in the world.

Get your own daughter.

I move that I do.

when, when it comes to Creation, we are talking about a guy Yates life.

Not who makes life, but who creates life.

The author of it.

So as we, as we come this morning to to that first chapter in the Bible, Genesis chapter 1, and I would encourage you to turn and then we're going to spend a great deal of time there this morning.

And I got to say when you have seven days to go through in a short.

Of time when I looked at the schedule.

And I saw that the market only chose to.

Okay, we have time, I will get us out on time.

Okay, we are going to cruise through this, but as we come today, there's a few things.

First of all, I desire for you to leave here this morning.

with a greater understanding and appreciation for the powerful God that you and I serve NMSU.

Leave.

The second thing I want you to leave here with a eight understanding of the authority and power of God's word it.

So I'm excited as we jump into Genesis chapter 1, and we look at these days of creation going with me as we begin in Genesis chapter 1, as we look at day.

One where guy dates?

Okay.

Spirit says, in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth and the Earth was formless and void and darkness was over the surface of the deep and the spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.

Then God said, let there be light and there was light.

Saw that the light was good and got separated the light from the darkness.

God called the light in the darkness, he called night, and there was evening and there was morning, one day, as we come to the first day of a creation, we received several things.

First of all.

I love the John declares that that Jesus Christ, the son of God had had an intricate role in Creation in the opening versus receipt.

I create and we see that the Holy Spirit had an active part as well.

The Trinity, the Triune God in the beginning.

God Elohim is is a beautiful picture of 1/3 and 1.

And I would love to spend more time pulling over and into all of this.

And I could easily make each one of these days a sermon, but I'm not okay.

We are going to cruise through this morning, but as we look at that, they're there is a boy, there's an emptiness and then God speaks

Did you see that?

Did you, did you read that?

God speaks the word of God, the power of His word?

God says, let there be light.

I have loved that, that God created light and he separated it from the darkness and I love that.

God says the light was good.

The light was good.

Did you catch that?

And so as we go through, we receive he created light.

He said it was good, there was evening there was morning, one day.

You're going to see a pattern as we go through each day.

Moving on today to thought you were going to cruise through this, okay?

And in beginning of her 6, then God said.

Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters and let it separate the waters.

From the waters, God, made the expanse and separated the waters, which were below the expanse from the waters, which were above the expanse.

And it was so God called the expanse heaven.

And there was evening and there was morning a second day.

You're like well that's that's kind of a weird passes.

What was being created?

Their sphere are Atlas.

We are separated Waters from the waters.

There was a canopy of water that surround the very beginning we will find later as as we approach Noah and all this water canopy collapsed causing part of or contributing to the flood.

The guys separated that any created the atmosphere once again, did you notice that?

The power and authority of God's word.

and it was so, I love looking at, in seeing the power of His word.

And is you, is you think about our atmosphere?

You like, okay, so we created the atmosphere, he's separated it big deal.

You realize that our atmosphere is the only one that we discovered up and do this point.

That that can sustain life.

God was creating a place for you and me for the animals from the author of Life Was preparing.

he created this atmosphere for you, and I It's an amazing thing.

I would love to get into the science of it, but we just do not have time this morning because we are only on day two.

But did you notice that at the end of it?

God look.

And he said it is good.

It is good, an atmosphere that sustains life.

There was evening, there was morning.

Day to a second day, we move on to day 3.

Where guy for me to dry land and plants look at what Genesis 9 says.

Then God said it is again, I love that.

Damn God said let the waters below the heavens, be gathered into one place and let the dry land appear and it was so God called the dry land on Earth and the Gathering of the waters.

He called Steve and God saw that it was good.

Then God said let the Earth Sprout vegetation plans yielding seed in fruit trees on the earth.

Bearing fruit after their kind with seeds in them.

And it was so the Earth brought forth vegetation plants using seed after their kind in the trees bearing fruit with seeds in them after their kind and God saw that it was good.

There was evening and there was morning a third day.

we see here as as God is, once again on the third day, God spoke Are you beginning to get the idea of the power of God's word? when we look at the vegetation, the plants in the season and everything that we get to enjoy, And I got to tell you, we don't get to enjoy near as many plants and stuff as some other places you go down to to Florida and my goodness, the vegetation is everywhere.

Okay, we we had some folks that just went down to Hawaii and I can only imagine the plants and vegetation that they gets enjoy and see.
