I. The grumbling at Marah, 15:22-27.

Observation: God has revealed Himself in Exodus 15 as deliverer (v. 3), healer (v. 26) and now as shepherd (v. 27).

II. Provision in the Wilderness of Sin, Chapter 16.

A. The Problem, vs. 1-3.

E. Explanation of omer, v. 31-36.

Observation: What did God demonstrate about Himself?
1. God is able and willing to provide regularly for the daily needs of His children.
2. God desires that His people experience His blessing.
3. God gave His people Sabbath rest to refresh and strengthen their spirits.
4. God gave them ample, palatable food for their bodies.

III. The quarreling at Rephidim, 17:1-7.
