I think it is seven more days of 21 days of prayer and fasting for those at a fasting doing this season as well seven more days of just answered prayer and seeing the miraculous power of God be made manifest in our lives 7 more days or what we can connect one with the other and come together and corporate prayer time. What we're going to do today from 5 to 6:17 courage all of you guys if you have not connected with us, and you said what man I'm just really getting into this 21 days of prayer you got started on the 3rd of January a man of this month. It's never too late. You can still dive in you can cut neck tee and you can be a part of it. So I want to invite you to be a part of it you start today. We're there so many disconcerted thoughts about healing in about you know, what's going on in the covid-19 and other things of happening in Atlanta, but I want to remind us all that there is no disease more powerful than our God. Somebody say Amen to that. I don't care what it is what it was what it will be. It will never be greater than the name of Jesus. That's what the Bible says at the name of Jesus every and then just limited to every this it's a rainy everything that thinks it could stand against the power of Jesus will have to bow down to the to the law. Worship of Jesus Christ himself as we dive into that today. I want us to be reminded of this one thing that the god in whom we serve is not shortened or not lack not liking any area of his wife but spray father. We thank you today. Then by the power of your holy spirit that you open our eyes that we can see our ears that we met here in our hearts that were receptive to what you're say speaks so clearly to us today. We'll grab our Bible today go over to the book of Deuteronomy chapter number seven is where we're going to start at today and as we get to their just get there to do a hold on for just a second and I'll meet you there in just a few moment, but I want to see a couple of thoughts because when I was thinking about this all often times when we think about Diseases we just look at it from a physical standpoint and I want to and there are some practical things that we can do and we should do to live a healthy lifestyle. I came across a couple articles in this is not the articles in entirety, but I want to take out a little bit of the snippet of each one of these articles and one came from the the medical news today. And here's what it gives this survey that they did and I've got to remember this is from a medical scientific thought according to study a combination of Health Life Choices lifestyle choices such as maintaining a healthy weight not smoking and regular exercise and can significantly extend a number of years that an individual avoid disease and I start okay, you know, you don't even think about it in that context, but you know, if you're living a half, I guess what I perceive that they're trying to communicate is if you living a healthy lifestyle you can you can extend You're the quality of life. I want you to hear the quality of life that you have by the choice that you made. No, you can't necessarily extend the years in your life because that's all in God's timing. I mean, I want to make sure that we don't get this when I'm not trying to but when it is time for us to depart this world we go to look to be in the presence of the Glorious Savior and Lord and our lord Jesus but you saying here and just from that standpoint that you know, just maintaining a healthy lifestyle change the whole thought, you know the cycle of your life in the quality of your life and everything and then another article that I was reading was from the Harvard. You can put that up Harvard Medical School. It's about practicing healthy habits. Practicing healthy habits may help people live disease-free longer. I said, okay and he thought I want to bring from there from the Articles. You can look them up and read them for yourself, but it says that it was a study was author that found it 50 year old women wear all the 50-year women in that don't raise a hand. I'm just saying but I'll do 50 year-old if you want that, but but for those that are over 50, it's as for those ladies who maintain 5 healthy habits exercising at least 30 minutes a day following a healthy diet. Some of these things are repetitive is maintaining a body mass index in the normal range having no more than and I would just lie in that out. Don't say that Pastor said that I don't have any more more no more than one glass of alcohol. I'm okay. Now I'm saying I'm reading a research. I'm going quotes. That's it while I was at church today in passing as long as I don't have but one glass and you got a mason jar, but I know you do that. Mason jar pillow wine and yellow mason jar that you can be juggin.

Have you you know, no more than one serving of alcohol a day not smoking. You can live an average the quality of life, you know the saying maybe extend your life by ten over ten years disease-free and that's including from diabetes and no Carville vascular diseases are Cancers and stuff and I start thinking about this just for my natural perspective. If there's a things that they can give you from a natural aspect of how you can increase the quality of your life. I would think as well that there is a thing that the Bible can prescribe for us how to live a quality life and how how how to have a quality life and I want to pick it up there because I think that the Lord that created us. Oh Lord that design that's the Lord that made us them Lord that breathe into our bodies the Lord that that formed Us in In His Image and his likeness will know what we need to be able to maintain this this the lifestyle. Quality of lifestyle that we can live in this world and I want to entitle in just a few moments I want to do so might I wanted title. Our time together is free from disease and I'll explain that in just a moment. Let's begin reading at Deuteronomy chapter number 7. It picked it up in here were the Israelites are traveling from Mount Sinai and their Journey on their Journey where God is leading them any and God's telling them that they're preparing to go in and and possess this new territory doing this this season of their lives. He's reminding them they need to do and how they need to live. If you look at the book of Deuteronomy, you look at it from the spit. It just means second law that God is reminding them a lot of things that's coming from Deuteronomy is is a repetitive is being repeated from the book of Exodus because God is reminding them all the things that he's requiring things that he is. Said that he would do look up here in reverse number 12. It says if you pay attention.

to these laws in our care for to follow them then the Lord your God will keep his Covenant of Love With You As a suorin to your ancestors, you can leave it up just for a moment and I want to start there to say that, you know often times we come in and we hear the word of God week week whether we're listening to you the information that we would get from a podcast or online preaching or in a Bible study or in a small group of where you would congregate in Gander where you are you are feeding yourself with the word of the Lord that is none of you can gain information. But if you don't do anything with that information is not beneficial to you know, because oftentimes we know that the Bible says if you are willing and obedient lot of us were willing, but we're not obedient to it. And what gun is this is laying out for the Israelites. I want you to hear what I have to say, but not only do I want you to have your attention to hear what I have to say, but I want you to follow what has been said everybody say follow what's been said that he wants us to follow what's being talked to them. He want them to follow Scribing in their lives is nothing like going to the doctor and the doctor gives you a prescription and then you stopped following the prescription. I know, you know, not a few months ago. My mom has his medication supposed to take and she was taking her medications and all of a sudden one day. She decided that she didn't want to follow and take the medication any longer it cost some physical side effects in her life. And so we didn't know it I mean and you know, we didn't know that she has stopped taking it won't say we know that she was in that she had to go to the hospital and she got to the hospital of the doctors. That was theirs yet. You know, I had to go to see her doctor again. Is that what what are you doing? This is Johnson and are you still taking your medication? She says no, I'm not taking it anymore.

She started out taking it, but then she stopped She didn't follow the doctor's orders.

That's why you know, sometimes we can sit and we in the Lord speaks to our hearts and got speak to us through his word God speaks to us to other people and we hear it. And we know that has a prescription for our souls in our lives, but then yet we don't follow through with it all. Halfway through in that and you know, we just follow this. With medicines you get halfway through whatever the prescription that you were designed to taking you stop following and then side effects kicks in.

We go halfway and following the word of the lord. We know what he says, but then it starts to kick kick kick in I want to point that out because God says I want you to pay attention to these walls. And now he's a I want you to be careful to follow them. Not just acknowledge them, but follow them. He says then the Lord will keep his Covenant and so as we're looking at here what really grasped my attention not only that but then he's has been the Lord will keep his Covenant of Love. With you I start thinking, you know often times we heard about about a lot of covenants in the Bible, but we don't often times talk about what is this Covenant of Love? But God has with us that we're looking at from the Israelites, but I know tell you I believe that as we look at this from not only Old Testament perspective to being an example for New Testament Believers, but there are some shoes from the Old Testament that has been transferred through the cross for those of us that are in the New Testament as well. And one of these things is about the Covenant of Love that God loved us got love the world. God got gave himself for us that this is this unconditional love that God has for each one of us. I don't care where we're at and where we're standing at and what our thoughts are and how long we been saved and how long we been coming to church. It doesn't matter. God still has a I love it. We call it and then I can copy love all of us in here. And God is reminding the Israelites that when you do your part. This discovered that this agreement that I have barely out of my heart that I will do and I will follow because not only am I saying it to you I've said it to your forefathers and if something would God pledges his loved what you and you think about God's love God's love comes by choice not by feeling or emotion. We oftentimes love based on our feelings and our emotions. I love you now because you brought me to take I love now. I don't like you because you didn't give me the cake. I want it. God is not like that. God is always decided that I'm loving you in spite of who you are. That's why I said over the book of Romans chapter number 5, we says not when you gave your life to God, he's he decide to see Jesus. He says God commanded his love toward you when you are a dirty rotten no-good backbiting still in killing smoking. He's as he commanded his love toward you and he commanded his love towards you because he said at that moment when you in that condition, he sent his son Jesus. for us all don't know. We clean up our hearts. We clean up our lives a little bit. We cleaned up who we are not our thoughts but yet they're still a degree and all of us don't say Amen to this because we don't want everybody know your story, but they're still at the all of us. I'm a broken mess in a propensity. Just seeing But even with that and God knowing do I smile God knows the condition of our thoughts. He still has decided that he loves all of us. I'll keep you from all of that, but he will inflict them on all of them and I want to spend a few moments today to talk about how do we live disease-free? Because that's what God is talking about here free from disease and Austin Texas of you know, if that's around it, but there's a problem was that God has put in his word I have to say do I go with my what what my experience is does my experience override the word of God does the word of God override any experience that I can have in life and I think that we've come to the conclusion that our lives in our study and artichoke that is not about only about our experiences is about what God's word has said in God's word has first place in our lives when we're listening to this when we think about this is what we think about physical ailments. I got some type of physical ailment is so I looked up maybe like me love you would do. And you some may already know this is just when you Define disease, it means it's a condition in the body that impairs normal functioning and is typically manifest by distinguishing signs and symptoms of disease is anything I would have said this way a disease is anything in your life that will impair you in life always say it like that anything that God has design in your life to function and how it should function when a disease comes in when something comes into your life it will it will cause you not to function that way and so what I'm talkin about diseases and God's going to heal diseases today, I want to look at it every shape fashion and thought of how something could come into my life to stop me from functioning the way that God has called me the function. We know what's going on in our nation. Her nation is not functioning well today.

We're talking about we need a healing for our nation what this something not functioning right in our in our structures of government. And we need God to heal it.

It's okay. There's something when it's not functioning right in the body of Christ what God the Healer when I say something is not functioning our physical body. We need God to heal it but here's what I want to get us to it was not functioning because the way that God has design did what what will God do for us? I want to I want to keep us centered on this because this is a pretty large thing the rapper mines around because it was people that got that has this type of problem in their lives to have this cancer in their lives. They have this lupus and their lives and all of those things as hit on a Sunday morning what I'm sitting here listening that God will keep us free up and my grandma was the most Godly person. I know and she wasn't kept free from from a disease or this happen if someone else is like I would bring you to a point. For all of us regardless or however we exit this world. We are designed someday to exit this world whether it's just my time is up. Noxgear and got what I'm running on the track, but when my time is up and it's not a bad thing. We look at death. And you know, I'm not that I'm bored. I'm not planning to die today or anything like that. Let me just put that disclaimer out. But we look at these are things that we escaped out. This world that we go spend the reality and the present the Lord. That's what Paul said in the book of Galatians. He says to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of the Lord where else better place to be than in the presence of the Lord.

It's all I'm looking at that but it was still looking at this you let me bring it back to this that we're talkin about these diseases and and and the things that God has promised and we're trying to wrap our minds around the world can this be because that seems like a contradiction in your thoughts that God will keep us free from diseases that that means that means that nobody should ever get sick. That means that nobody should ever have a cold that you know, nobody should ever suffer with anything, you know, that would lead us through that far, but I want to expand your thinking a little bit. Tim may be hope bring some light to this because there were some promises and I want to look at this real quick and I want to finish up and just a few moments because I want us to listen and obey the Lord because when we listen to put the slide up listening an umbrella Lord opens the door for manifestation of his Covenant promises in our lives and we all went to his Covenant promises manifested in our lives here some of those promises that God says if you listen and obey that you were experienced number one, he said you would experience the love of God of your heavenly father. I want to take that for a New Testament Church Believers as well because of the Old Testament Pastor what you're reading from or in the Book of John because this goes through the cross as well over in the Book of John. Jesus said that this way he says he said,

He's as I and the father will come and make it home with you. He's at work will come and we will exist right where you're at and when we when we were walking in this quality of love and and we're loving like Jesus is because he said you were following his words this man. I'm going to come in and you going to experience the love of God of your heavenly father. Like you've never experienced it before what would you imagine when the love of God is present in your home? What would you imagine your life will be like when when the love of God is overshadowing everything that you're doing and just in compass in your entirety of your whole life number to he says that you will be fruitful. Fruitfulness will be a part of your life. And that's what I meant. We're still reading from the book of Deuteronomy. He says the man number one when you follow my Commandments my commandment that you going to experience a couple of the Lord he goes on these as next of fruitfulness will be a part of your life. He says man, he will bless the fruit of your labor and every aspect of your lies will be blessed. Jesus said it this way over in John chapter number 15. I want to compare it because this goes to the everything in the Old Testament don't go to the Cross but these go through the cross. He says John chapter 15. Jesus said, I am the vine you are the branches if you connected to me. You are what your big good fruit. He says you'll you'll be a bundle your bill bless. You have a fruitful life. It's all a part of us the willing and obedient to live according to God's word number three good things.

It will seem to happen. You can put that up. It would seem like number three good things seems to happen in every aspect of your life. You know that I got to give you first verse number 14, you will be blessed more than other people. That's what it says in the book of Deuteronomy. You'll be blessed more than other people. Jesus said that he's what I'm going to do.

Is not always be blessed but none of the other pain that women will be childless. Those that are in your life and good things will happen to you blessings will overtake you and Romans chapter number 8 verse number 28. It says for you know that God causes everything. To work together for the good of those who love God and for those in a call according to his purpose he got what you can put it back up. God will cause good things to happen. If you got will cost blessings to overtake the manifest good things to manifest in your life. Why because we're living under this Covenant that God is looking out for you and I because we love him and he loves us is number five number for says you will experience and victory at the hand of the Lord. Euro your experience a victory at the hand of the Lord until the battle's that you're going through you don't have to worry about fighting but when you're under God's covering and your part of God God will fight your battles for you. And then the last thing I want to bring attention to cuz when we were reading to Deuteronomy those few versus those things are the Lord then it goes on and verse number 15. Is that the Lord will keep you free cuz if I believe now if I believe that yeah, I can have this love that is unmarried this agape. Love of God if I can believe that I can be. What causes fruit for this to be a part of my life and I can believe that God will cost me to have the victory. Why would I believe that God as well as that if he can do all the most do I say? Amen? Amen to those four things? Why would I not say Amen to God can remove diseases from my life. Because it's the same God that we think they can do the rest of these other things and and what I want to bring our attention to is that that here got gives us a prescription and I want to give you something today how I believe how does God keep you free from a disease or lifestyle. That's what we're talking about because we work when we say disease which is not talking about the physical body disease is anything in your life that will cause you not to function according to God's word anything that will creep into our lives could cause us to be diseased. We're not functioning properly work the Church of Jesus. Did you know when we walked into this building this morning and and I started turning on lights this morning. I turned on the lights in the lights came on and then we turned on the sound system the sound system came all over hit the hit the switch for the projector the projector came on. And so does that mean they played on the keyboard or they hit the drums and everything started working the microphone. Does that mean everything is functioning right in the churches? That means everything was functioning right in the building.

But wasn't functioning right in the church. The church is not the building the church. The building is a place where the church of symbols.

Who were coming here? We're talking about hate in our lives and your lives and in our families in our jobs in our community in our stores and where we would go how we have this disease free wife work. Everything in our lives are functioning according to God's word. all of these things to work What is the Church of Jesus is not the disease free? It won't function the way that Jesus is called it to.

And I'm not just talking about this trip sometime about the church's whole of Jesus if we're not functioning according to what God has prescribed.

His faithful promises are your armor and your protections down the verse number 7 just do a thousand fall at your side. Vote in thousands are dying on you. These evils will not touch you. That's what God is making Justice to his coming into his people. No evil Will Conquer, you know play it will come near your home and I'm thinking about that. You said will Pastor how do you say that? Because I know somebody that got coronavirus in in in this person didn't get coronavirus. Here's what I want to say. Some people here has not experienced that in that lies and God's Divine protection over your life, but there's something that got into my life. So I want to say to you because God said in his word. Let me go back just a moment. He said in his word. He will keep you free. He will keep you that means keeping me that that's in the Hebrews as the protection. He will he will guard you he will protect you but then he says you know what? I'm a free you from and if there's something that gets there I'm going to cause it to be removed from your lifestyle. It's over some of us in here you say what God has not given me and I have not kept in contact will just use this virus because that's the big thing about the God has kept us from that but it's okay. We say Amen to that and some of us that way I know somebody that was diagnosed with it and they did have some symptoms but here's what I want to say. They are standing today and I thank God that God has removed them that coronavirus from the free from it. However, it happens God is the one that has orchestrated. The healing in their lives he can either keep you farm and some of the stuff God has kept us free from it. And I think that you have to follow I'm not sick. What do you send follow protocols? You need to follow whatever the best for your health and for your conditions in life, but here's what I do want to say to all of us regardless of whatever comes there is a factor in our lives that we have to have enough Faith to believe that whatever I come in contact that there's a God that's greater than that. He can keep me from it, because God has protected us from danger seen and unseen danger has been around us and what dangers been around and we didn't even know what was going on around us and God has protected us as well as that what we've gotten ourselves in a little things. God has had the power to get us out of it.

And he goes over here. He says man, I will protect you from all of it. These evil they won't touch you. I think it's so important to Dave because what we're seeing and we're being bombarded with on television and through the media Source can rob us of our faith.

I can make us think that this thing is so big and I'm not downplaying it when there's lies and my heart goes out to anyone that has suffered with it or someone has family has suffered in his past away with it. But I want to tell you whatever it is. It is not bigger than I got and we keep looking at this junk that's on television and it's feeding our spirit and is robbing us of our faith in God that we think that it is so big that God can handle it. We need to be able to disconnect at some point and look at it. Say My God Is Bigger Did it all? You can protect us, you know, that's why I go. Now uses walking Lowe's and grab a bag. If you go there you got to think about, you know, let me put my gloves on. Let me get my let me get my hands and let me wipe it down. Let me spread don't let me get a watch before I go in let me get a sanitized and all that because it's robbing us and you may need to do that but is robbing us and so we're becoming fearful in this land in the Bible says that God has not given us a spirit of fear because we know if I know I'm protected by God. I'm not going to do anything to put myself and just go through something foolishness. I'm a I'm a born-again Believer. I can just going to go stand here and do this not saying that but why I'm going about my way I have a promise from my heavenly father where he's coming himself that he says, I will protect you. I'll watch out for you. I'll look out for you when you don't even know that there's diseases around you and them in the factor in the type of diseases are around you out. Watch out for you. See, how do I live this? And how do I get it? Because I have a faith in a God. That's greater. Did anything where he said it won't touch my life. Look at somebody said he said it won't touch me. Come on. He said it and it won't touch me.

I think that God brings healing in our lives with us to a natural means of how we just your liver. I'm talking physically live a healthy lifestyle in the course of already made mention that God brings healing through doctors or through matter since I've given you an example of medicine and sometimes that you have to follow up prescriptions of your doctor. If you got the faith to believe that when you can come off of it you come off of it, but let nobody do that. That's between you and God what you need to do in that regards. The other things I want to talk about is not on the device. Part where we cannot combine both of these together the natural part. Is it just living a healthy lifestyle unit. We know we just came out at Christmas and this holiday season and and we all knew some of us. Some of us was repenting before the holiday season started. Cuz we knew we were not going to we were not going to eat. Right we knew that we were going to eat that stuff. That was that was already bad for our bodies. We knew that we were not going to follow what the you know what we have been following the whole year. I went I went to my mom's house. We got a chance to spend Christmas at my mom's house this year. And one of the one of the cakes that I love is a caramel cake, cake and I walk I walk in the door on that night Christmas night. We make it there and I'm thinking boy that cake sure looks good 9 at night knowing I should not eat it. But I know that God is a loving God.

And I know that his love is never failing, you know, and so and I don't want to disappoint my mom. I didn't want to disappoint her.

And she laughs without fear. She knew I was didn't know we were coming but it was I just heard it. Say your mom left this for you. You need to eat it getting but I did eat cake I did eat that cake at nine 9:30 at night and ate it 9:30, but then I ate some more of it the following morning when I woke up. It was there by 8 so I have to wait to see you soon. Then I ate it again at lunch time and one day I found out man. I ain't like for five slices of cake for one day. That's what I said. Hello, maybe I need to wait till I come to church and get down at the altar on Sunday and pray that God will release this back pain from me. But you know, you shouldn't be eating.

In all those Cokes that you were consuming, you know, you said, you know, when you drink too many of those coach, you know that it how it affects your body. So maybe you just shouldn't drink all those Cokes. And I didn't quite agree with what the Lord was saying, but I had to listen because he was speaking.

Don't talk about natural healing come sometimes with us just doing the right things in life because it's easier for me to not to do the right things and then come in on Sunday morning. That's my whole point that we know that's not healthy for us in affects us. It happens the same way in our spiritual and emotional lives. we consume stuff that are spiritual in our emotional lives that we know that is not healthy for us and it impacts Our Lives because we were talking about healing were talking about Spirit soul and body physical emotionally and then a physical they got wants to bring healing that was a word that K one of the words that came to us on the first Sunday of this year.
