Church in Dry Bone Valley

37 The hand of the Lord was on me,† and he brought me out by his Spirit† and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me all around them. There were a great many of them on the surface of the valley, and they were very dry. 3 Then he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live? ”

I replied, “Lord God, only you know.”†

4 He said to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Lord God says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live.† 6 I will put tendons on you, make flesh grow on you, and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you so that you come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”† (Ezek 37:1-6)

There are many simulates between Israel situation and many of our churches today many of our churches have become a valley of bones.

Let us look at some of the characters of the two. Israel were in one there bad situations, which to often they found themselves in. God should the prophet how He God so their condition.

The Bones were dried. I want suggest many of our churches have become the same way. Many in the church have no emotion, we sit here unconcerned with what Is going on. We look around, we talk we text, everything but get into worship.

Dead bones do nothing, they are just there. Like many of us today we belong to the church, but don’t do nothing. All the miniseries we have, we can’t find one that we want work in. We don’t to interfere with our lives. We are too busy doing us. Bones are just in the way, you have step over them. Of course we have a bag of excuses fir not doing nothing. It is always someone that causes us not to be a part of the work.

God told the prophet to speak to the bones, after the bones had skin and flesh there was no life in them. The Lord the prophet what to do. He told him to say to the bones no here the word of the Lord. Pastors ever Sunday morning Dry bones here the word of the Lord.

When the prophet spoke to the bones, there was a great noise the bones stood up and came to life. Come out of dry valley, the church can come together. The church can be made whole.
