PRAYING FOR OTHERS

EPHESIANS 1:18,

The Scriptures tell us that we should be praying for each other. So how do we do this, for so many they believe that it is just for the material things in life. That our prayers are for that which we can see, hear, touch, or taste or effect us physically in this world. I want us to consider that maybe our prayers for each other should be more than that. God has subject this physical life to the spiritual life we have. So that our prayers for each other are best made when we pray for the spiritual because it will govern how we handle live in the physical. So How Do We Begin To Pray For Each Other For Spiritual Things?
Verse 16: We begin by “Thanking God For Each Other” as we mention each other in Prayer.
The Eyes of your Heart may be Enlightened - That we may be able to see clearly in our hearts the things of God! Too many of us have something blocking our eyes so we cannot see!
Acts 26:18, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.”
2 Cor 4:6, For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
2. So You may Know: What is the Hope of His Calling - That we would reach the position and place that God has for us, to be Glorified with Christ!
Rom 8:17-21, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
19 For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.
20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope
21 that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
Rom 8:30, and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
Rom 11:29, for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
Eph 4:4, There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;
3. So You may Know: What are the Riches of His Glory - So we would know all the good things God has in store for us, which is everything he shares with his Son Christ Jesus is also shared with us!
Col 1:27, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Eph 2:4-7, But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
4. So You may Know: What is His Inheritance in the Saints - We are the Children of God, not just his people but children by birth and adoption!
Col 1:12, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
Acts 26:18, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’
Rom 8:14-17, For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,
17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
Gal 4:4-7, But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,
5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
6 Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”
7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
