A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

The Force-Field Awakens

After years of order in the galaxy with the Force bringing balance and peace, disruption and chaos has taken over as the Empire try to wipe out the Jedi race once and for all. After many failed attempts to restore the galaxy to its balance, the team, led by General Han Solo must embark on one final mission to rescue the ancient Jedi texts from the cold clutch of the Empire and return them to their rightful home on Ahch-To. Will they be able to reconcile their conflicts that have continued to divide them in the past and discover the key to restoration, or will their differences tear them apart?

THE FIRST DIMENSION

Starts with Anakin in his X-wing
C-3PO comes onto comms and updates Anakin of the transmission from the Missio Delta, confirming the texts are on the Imperial Cruiser and informing him of the Coram map that R2 has.
Anakin feels the mission is pointless – the texts aren’t important as long as Jedi know how to use the force etc.
R2 disables the Cruiser’s scanners and allows Anakin to go under the radar.
Chapter ends when they see the Millenium Falcon, and young Han Solo walks out.

THE SECOND DIMENSION

Young Han Solo exits, explains he was given the same mission (but doing it for a bounty/his own ends) – he and Anakin immediately have a dislike/uneasiness for each other.
Anakin and Solo begrudgingly agree to work together, keep arguing/falling out
Discussion about what they are wearing - Anakin wears robes because they are comfortable, and its what his master wore, but Han wears his shirt and waistcoat with his belt because its practical. Mention Anakin’s shoes as well.

THE THIRD DIMENSION

R2 helps them distract the Storm Troopers who have been alerted to them being there.
Anakin and Han break into the platform leading to the room where the Coram map says the scrolls are being held.
They are faced with Darth Ego, who strolls across the platform and draws his light saber - describe him as having unappealing features and wearing dark colours, in stark contrast to the main characters.

THE FOURTH DIMENSION

Anakin tries to fight Darth Ego, shouting at Han that he just has a feeling that they can overcome him and that they should fight.
Han shouts back that he needs to forget about his feelings and that they are outmatched against this highly skilled and trained Sith.
"You can't defeat him," Solo says.
"Not alone," comes a voice from behind them.
They turn to see Obi Wan in astral form standing there.
Anakin rushes with his master, Obi Wan and they fight Darth Ego.
With one final look back at the three men nearing what he could only assume would be the end of at least one of them, he turned and scampered back towards the entrance. One of the three was already dead, he thought, so that didn’t leave much hope for the other two. He reached the blast door just as R2 helped to seal them closed. Pressing his hand against the cold metal of his safety, he heard the first clash of lightsabers echo from the other side.
‘That kid needs to learn that his emotions arent going to get him anywhere.’

THE FIFTH DIMENSION

‘And Han was right. I hate to say it, but he was right about me. I was too irrational, I never used to think anything through, and it took that encounter with Master Obi-Wan to make me realise that,’ chuckled Anakin as he glanced around the room at the others.
‘You know, Anakin,’ said Obi-Wan, leaning in with his face closer to the fire that was blazing in the middle of all of them, ‘I am proud of you. All those years you dismissed me, thought you knew better than me, and now you see. You see how things are meant to be.’
Anakin smirked and crossed his arms, his eyes lacking the pride and irrationality that would have once consumed him in this situation.
‘It was only so long before I came to this realisation I suppose. I used to think that I could do that the galaxy could do without you. It could do without the scrolls, the instruction, the years of teaching. I thought I could bring order to the galaxy myself. But you were right, Obi-Wan.’
Anakin sighed, and glanced across at Han, who despite the darkness of the forest still had a visible smug look glowing on his face in the flickering light of the flames.
‘I can’t believe I actually just heard Anakin Skywalker say that,’ he remarked before what had first looked to be smugness was replaced by a state of reflection and understanding. ‘I think it took all those years of fighting and wrestling with each other for us to both finally realise that we can work together if we just accept that its not just about us.’
‘It’s about all of us,’ said Obi-Wan. ‘The galaxy would have nothing without the scrolls that we rescued that day. They are the centre of everything that we hope for; everything that we fight for. But the galaxy needs us all. Even without 3PO and R2, that mission would never have worked. It would have failed just like all the others.’
Anakin smiled with acceptance. ‘You’re right. I see that now. Obi-Wan with his years of knowledge and experience, Han with his deep thinking and rationality. Even 3PO with his guidance and helping us follow R2’s Coram map. I always overlooked them, but now I see,’ he said, looking down at the ridged soles of his field boots. Far more reasonable, while also being as comfortable as his old pair, he thought, trying to take his mind away.
‘Don’t forget yourself, Anakin,’ said Obi-Wan, bringing Anakin’s wandering mind back. ‘There’s a place for you in this galaxy too. It can be easy to see how our experience and rationality will bring about order, but sometimes the galaxy needs your spontaneity and emotion. I’ve never met a Jedi more passionate and in touch with the divine Force as you, Skywalker. Through the Force, we live the kind of lives and become the Jedis that we are destined to be.’
‘Just so long as we continue to have the primacy of the ancient texts, remembering my successes and experience, Han’s rigorous reason, Anakin’s testimony and passion, and we have the droids guiding us through it all. If we have all of that, I dont see what could ever disturb the unity and peace that comes from the Force,’ he said, as he exhaled and smiled in Anakin’s direction.
‘I sure have a got a testimony,’ laughed the Jedi in reply.
He couldnt have done it without the Jedi texts, as they were the instruction for all Jedis and brought about order and balance along with the Force, but they had dismissed Obi-Wan for years, and perhaps that was what was holding them back in all of their previous missions.
Anakin confesses that he was wrong to have taken charge and tried to overpower Obi-Wan and the others. He once believed that he could have power without the scrolls and their authority, but this mission has made him realise that he owes everything to them and the teaching of Obi-Wan
Han and Anakin thank 3PO and R2 for guiding them to the scrolls, and helping to bring the galaxy the restoration that it now has.
