Do you know what the Bible says about you?

Genesis 1:26–27 CSB
26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.” 27 So God created man in his own image; he created him in the image of God; he created them male and female.
Psalm 139:13–16 CSB
13 For it was you who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made. Your works are wondrous, and I know this very well. 15 My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret, when I was formed in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in your book and planned before a single one of them began.
Ephesians 1:4 CSB
4 For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him.
These phrases all have one thing in common: they are things done to us or for us by God. These are not things we have done for ourselves
In fact, heres what we do ourselves...

Romans 3:23 — SIN

You are great but that is NOT because of you
APART FROM GOD WE ARE JUST SIN W/O GOD
John 15:5 CSB
5 I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.
BUT
Romans 5:8 CSB
8 But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
John 15:4–5 CSB
4 Remain in me, and I in you. Just as a branch is unable to produce fruit by itself unless it remains on the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.

How do we remain in him?

Romans 10:9–10 CSB
9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
In our HEARTS
Keep is word close to your heart
Keep his people close to your heart
Matthew 22:37–39 CSB
37 He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the greatest and most important command. 39 The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.
Keep HIM close to your heart
Actions
James 1:22 CSB
22 But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Prayer
Philippians 4:6 CSB
6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
