The question will always be in our heart, but how do we ask it?
The question will always be in our heart, but how do we ask it?
9 The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Does God direct you, or do other people?
Does God direct you, or do other people?
1 Those who trust in the Lord Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.
4 “Trust in the Lord forever, For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock.
God uses people and things, but the outcome and victory belong to the LORD
God uses people and things, but the outcome and victory belong to the LORD
33 The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the Lord.
31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But victory belongs to the Lord.
So how do we discern the right way from the wrong way?
So how do we discern the right way from the wrong way?
42 So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, For I trust in Your word.
15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
20 Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. 21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, 8 Guarding the paths of justice, And He preserves the way of His godly ones. 9 Then you will discern righteousness and justice And equity and every good course.
Can you trust God for the outcome, by faith?
Can you trust God for the outcome, by faith?
27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” 28 Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”
36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. 37 For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. 38 But My righteous one shall live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.
8 “It will come about in all the land,” Declares the Lord, “That two parts in it will be cut off and perish; But the third will be left in it. 9 “And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ And they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’ ”
Will God be faithful to see us through to the end?
Will God be faithful to see us through to the end?
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;
1 But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! 2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
Will we have what it takes to hold on to the end?
Will we have what it takes to hold on to the end?
13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
