Any form of ritualistic or religion behavior, even something God has ordained, will never contribute to Jesus Christ and what He accomplishes for a person who believes.

Introduction

There are some people who you warn and they do not listen.
It gets to the point that you simply give them one final warning and let them go.
They had endured and tolerated a perverted gospel and preachers of a perverted gospel.
These are the consequences.

v.2

Galatians 5:2 UBS4
2 Ἴδε ἐγὼ Παῦλος λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἐὰν περιτέμνησθε, Χριστὸς ὑμᾶς οὐδὲν ὠφελήσει.
“Behold, I, Paul, I say to you all that if ever you might be circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.”
2 Corinthians 10:1; Colossians 1:23; Ephesians 3:1
This is an appeal to their previous relationship.
Galatians 4:15 (NASB95)
15Where then is that sense of blessing you had? For I bear you witness that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me.
The idea is that if these people receive circumcision from these false brethren, who demand that a person who believes in Jesus Christ also receives circumcision in order to be saved, then the result will be that Christ is null and void to that person.
This means that there can be no contribution that can be added to Christ for a person’s benefit.
Acts 15:1 NASB95
1 Some men came down from Judea and began teaching the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”
Peter had earlier ate with uncircumcised men:
Acts 11:1–3 NASB95
1 Now the apostles and the brethren who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God. 2 And when Peter came up to Jerusalem, those who were circumcised took issue with him, 3 saying, “You went to uncircumcised men and ate with them.”
Why is this the case?
Because of the purpose of the Law
Galatians 3:19 NASB95
19 Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions, having been ordained through angels by the agency of a mediator, until the seed would come to whom the promise had been made.
1 Timothy 1:8–11 NASB95
8 But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9 realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers 10 and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.
Because of the purpose of the Christ.
Galatians 3:29 NASB95
29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.
2 Corinthians 5:14–15 NASB95
14 For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; 15 and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.
The two are incompatible.

v.3

Galatians 5:3 UBS4
3 μαρτύρομαι δὲ πάλιν παντὶ ἀνθρώπῳ περιτεμνομένῳ ὅτι ὀφειλέτης ἐστὶν ὅλον τὸν νόμον ποιῆσαι.
Galatians (2) Falling from Grace (5:2–6)

5:3 Paul now amplified what he had just said concerning the consequences of the Galatians’ acceptance of circumcision. Not only would they lose Christ and all his benefits but they also would gain an intolerable burden they would not be able to bear. This was true because receiving the Jewish ritual of circumcision carried with it a further all-encompassing obligation: the necessity of observing the law in its every precept

Not only will they doctrinally go astray, they will heap more judgement on themselves because they are now obligated to obey the whole entire Law.
Galatians (2) Falling from Grace (5:2–6)

Paul couched his warning in the language of a courtroom witness, “I bear witness,” “I testify.” He himself knew by personal experience what the law required and how utterly impossible it was to find peace with God through perfect obedience. For the Galatians then to accept circumcision and all that it implied was for them to throw away the precious gift of freedom and step back onto the unceasing treadmill of self-justification.

This obligation, then, will ensure their condemnation because they CAN’T keep the Law.
Further, this flies against the entire argument that he has been explaining in the previous chapters:
Righteousness is by faith in Jesus Christ, not by activity.
Galatians 3:6–7 NASB95
6 Even so Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness. 7 Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham.
To perform the Law of Moses is to act in a manner that yoked a man to the rest of the Law.
Galatians 3:10–12 NASB95
10 For as many as are of the works of the Law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, to perform them.” 11 Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “The righteous man shall live by faith.” 12 However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “He who practices them shall live by them.”
The inheritance of the Kingdom is a promise by God and not earned or rewarded.
Galatians 3:15–16 NASB95
15 Brethren, I speak in terms of human relations: even though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been ratified, no one sets it aside or adds conditions to it. 16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one, “And to your seed,” that is, Christ.
If a person believes in Jesus Christ as a result of the apostolic preaching, then that message which they believed makes them free.
Galatians 4:31 NASB95
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman.
Grace is given in order to experience and live in freedom.
Galatians 5:1 NASB95
1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
