Are You Asking for Trouble? Text: Psalm 106:15
INTRODUCTION: Most of us try and borrow trouble. Sometimes we ask for it. There's an old saying that goes, "Don't trouble-trouble until trouble-troubles you." But in spite of that saying most of us seem to just ask for many of our troubles.
WE ASK FOR TROUBLE WHEN WE RUN FROM THE LORD—Jonah 1 Jonah got caught in a storm. Jonah was cast overboard. Jonah paid the price.
WE ASK FOR TROUBLE WHEN WE PITCH OUR TENTS TOWARD SODOM—Genesis 13 Lot chose the Plain—Genesis 13:11 Lot dwelt in Sodom—Genesis 14:12 Lot lingered in Sodom—Genesis 19:16
WE ASK FOR TROUBLE WHEN WE TOUCH GOD'S ANOINTED—Numbers 22:31-34 Balaam cursed God's people Pharaoh hated God's people
