Throwing it UP
What is the purpose forgiveness in the Bible.
Too forgive a debr from one to another according to Old Testament
Jesus forgivensess of Sins
Forgiveness from other Brothers/Sisters
Pastor forgiveness
According to the Old testament times when a person forgave a person of a debt it was gones.
In Genesis we see God created light and darknes for even in the the darkness there is light for the rays of the sun shine on the moon givng us light and even the stars brighten up the sky.
In John 1:1 is saying “ In the beginning was the word and the word was made flesh and the wod was God. So we see the light of God in the beginning until today.
Frogiveness is the ability to let go and wash the slate clean as God does for us each and revery dya whe nwe ask to repent. BEing Baptized in Jesus name an receiving hte zhly Ghost cleans the slate with no rememberance from Jesu.
The problem in the church today is wit h Chrisitans is when we cometo each other ask frogivenss before going before God it seems that the slate is not clean for in times the brother will bring up not all do it but in churches people will say remember when sos and so did this. So we where not truly forgiven and a sin of that brother or sister.
True forgiveness is from Jesus himself to give us a new lease on life to live according to the Word given from the beginning of time, as humans we do make mistakes even in marriage at times when my wife and I have discussions
being married 38 years she brings things up i don’t even remember. STill the idea of a clean slate is eassy for God to forget, as Christians is not always for humans to do so for the World will always rmember things you have done wrong even if you a Christian.
We as Christians need to grow towards the love of others as Jesus loved us to forgive and cleanthe slate.
Forgiving is of th heart to truly let go of all sin in our lives.
We have to stand infront of the mirror and look at who each of us are as individuals to not only forgive ourselves also to ask Jesus for forgiveness.
