What a Friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry Everything to God in Prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,

All because we do not carry everything to God in Prayer!

Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading, Pleading for you and for me?

Why should we linger and heed not His mercies, Mercies for you and for me?Come home, Come home...Ye who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling, Calling, O sinner, come home!
