In the latter half of Hebrews 6, God wants to reassure these Jewish Christians, to inspire them to keep persevering and clinging to Jesus - to not outwardly forsake Him in favor of obsolete rituals. How will God encourage them? By reminding them of promises to Abraham that are theirs, too - and yours, if you've pledged allegiance to Christ.
