Deuteronomy 31:12

INTRODUCTION

Organization for Organization Sake Is Never Right.

1915 Arthur Flake ‑ Flakes Formula

Basic formula for growing a church.

1A.      DISCOVER THE PROSPECT

"...the people"

1B.       We must know our possibilities.

2B.       We must identify and locate specific people.

2A.      PROVIDE THE SPACE

1B.       A class will take the shape of the room in which it is housed.

2B.       A church never grows to need space it fails to provide.

3B.       A church will never consistently tax the capacity of the building space it uses.

80% saturation rule.

4B.       Now is the time to make provision for tomorrow needs.

3A.      ENLIST AND TRAIN THE WORKERS

1B.       Trained workers reach more people.

We need a 10/1 worker to pupil ratio.

2B.       Worker training begins in adult Bible Study.

4A.      ENLARGE THE ORGANIZATION

1B.       Create new units.

2B.       Grading

By Age

By Sex and or marital status

(Titus 2:3-5 NIV)  Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. {4} Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, {5} to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

5A.      GO AFTER THE PEOPLE

1B.       Consistent

2B.       Systematic

3B.       Evangelistic

Application

This is the backbone of our growth organizational plan.

You need to...

Ø       Know it

Ø       Understand it

Ø       Commit to it

Ø       Do it!
