Then the lady began to share her story:

A fireman was able to climb in my window from a ladder He then gave me to another man.
Before the fireman knew it the floor had collapsed under him and He was killed.
You see sir, I was that little girl who's life was saved.
I shall always be so grateful to him for giving his life for mine.
I will never be ashamed of this statue or the sacrifice if stands for.
