@ILL TEXT = Girls sometimes get dirty but boys get muddy.  I was all boy.  More than once my mother's floors endured the onslaught of my muddy feet.  Football games on Sunday afternoon were my favorite times for getting muddy.

@ILL TEXT = Eventually I would have to go home.  Tried to slip in.  You can't slip in with muddy feet.
