Hebrews 11:1  "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

Nothing uncertain about faith

Doubts come when we look at our works instead of Christ's finished work!

3A.      ONLY THOSE WHO TRAVEL THIS ROAD WILL GO TO HEAVEN!

The Same Principle of Salvation by Faith is in effect today...

1B.      For The Same Purpose (vv.23-24a)

God's purpose of salvation has not changed!

2B.      By The Same Process (v.24b)

Romans 10:9  "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We must confess and believe - the resurrection is essential to salvation!

3B.      On The Same Principle (v.25)

Abraham was saved the same way we are!

John 8:56  "Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.""

APPLICATION

Matthew 7:13-14  ""Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
