Matter / Heart

Matter Refers To: Physical substance in general, as distinct from mind and spirit; (in physics) that which occupies space and possesses rest mass, especially as distinct from energy.
HEART Center of the physical, mental, and spiritual life of humans. The heart and the intellect are closely connected, the heart being the seat of intelligence. The heart is connected with thinking: As a person “thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Prov. 23:7 KJV)
To ponder something in one’s heart means to consider it carefully (Luke 1:66; 2:19). “To set one’s heart on” is the literal Hebrew that means to give attention to something, to worry about it (1 Sam. 9:20). To call to heart (mind) something means to remember something (Isa. 46:8). All of these are functions of the mind but are connected with the heart in biblical language.
Gerald P. Cowen, “Heart,” ed. Chad Brand et al., Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary (Nashville, TN: Holman Bible Publishers, 2003), 731.
When we hear the word “Heart” we immediately consider the physical organ! Which is expected, because our physical heart is the center of life - We know, physically, without it, every extension on our flesh will die! There will be no flow!
Spiritually, I believe this is why we must remain connected to The True and Living Vine!
The One Who supplies all of the strength, that causes us to always be Strong, even when we are experiencing weak circumstances !
2 Corinthians 13:5–6 (NKJV) 5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified. 6 But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.
The more natural matter you have on your mind, the less space your heart has for the Hope of God to show you that you are still in The Plan!
God searches The Heart - He does not concern Himself with the outward - Only The Heart - Jeremiah 17:10
When God searches the heart, He is searching the seat of your intellect, your thoughts, your mind and your faith or substance!
When you allow the natural matters, those things that consume space, fill up your heart, you must remove those things and clean up those matters!
As a matter of fact, no pun intended, stop picking up the pieces. . .
What do I mean?Daniel 7:28 (NKJV)28 “This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me, and my countenance changed; but I kept the matter in my heart.”
As Daniel states here, when what we consider the most, and let rest on our minds (heart) the most, will cause trouble!
This is why we experience heart palpitations because we are worrying about stuff that God has asked for us to cast on Him!
God told the people in Jeremiah, on the Sabbath, do not carry any burdens into Worship!
Do not bring any burdens into the gates, only worship!
When we allow those matters of life to burden us down, we will become blind to God’s Already Done Promises! Matthew 13:15 (NKJV) 15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’
We tend to become dull and cold when it seems as if things do not work according to our plan!
Many times we have missed the blessing because we have the matters of life clogging our arteries, the Spiritual arteries and we cannot hear the Promises of God!
Because we spend too much time dwelling in the negatives and pondering them!
But The Bible says; Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man. . .
We must trust in His Word and His Hope! Realizing that God is still in control!
I cannot think myself out!
Moses - Thought himself out of the promise land
Abram - Thought himself out and almost cause harm to the king
Judas - Although his life was ordained to do so, thought himself out!
David - Could not build the kingdom (Temple) because he thought himself out with carnal thinking!
Saul - Disobeyed God by thinking himself out of God’s Favor!
Matters Of The Heart will cause you to Think Yourself Out if you do not grasps hold of God’s Word!
Jeremiah says; Jeremiah 17:14 (NKJV) 14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.
This warfare we are waging is not physical, it is Spiritual, and we must be matured Believers so that we may be able to withstand in the midst of the calamity!
Jeremiah knew that God is with him, and knew that His Word is in him, so He spoke with authority, regardless of what it looks like naturally, we must stand fast in The Hope of Glory and Know That God’s Word Is Powerful!
This is why Jesus said, when His Mind tried to think Himself out of the will of The Father, “Not My Will, but Your Will. . .”
Jesus gave us the example, showing us that you cannot allow the Matter to consume The Promise!
Your focus and mindset, must be solely on God!
Psalm 73:21–25 NKJV
21 Thus my heart was grieved, And I was vexed in my mind. 22 I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. 23 Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. 24 You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
Cancel all of those liens on your mind - Because we have the mind Of Christ! A mind that will not cause us to believe we are counted out!
Because Christ has redeemed us! He has bought us back! So we have rights to live and live and abundantly life!
Yes, they may say no, they may say denied, but God has already approved you, He has already sealec you with The Holy Spirit!
Do not think yourself out by resting in the matters of life, The heart is desperately wicked, who can know it!
Only God searches The Heart! Create in me a clean heart and renew a right Spirit in me!
So that I may rejoice in this day, regardless of the devices the enemy has set before me, I know that God has already conquered it, this is why, through Jesus The Christ, Who always causes us to Triumph! Made us more than conquerors, because God is more than enough!
