FREEDOM FROM FAILURE

Romans 8:28-30

INTRODUCTION

Our greatest fear is failure

We fear failure because it emphasizes our humanity.

We can have freedom from this fear when we realize what we have in Christ Jesus...

“all things”

Is not limited in where He can work

Is not limited in what He can do

Is not limited in when He can work

2B.       He Is All Loving

Seen in His desire

Seen in His design

“who love him...”

We love because he first loved us.

John 14:15

“who have been called”

“called” = to invite, effectual

“purpose” = God’s plan

Ask...

How is God working in me?

What can this mean later in my life?

What have I learned?

We are “to be conformed”

To have the same form - to be like Christ!

2B.       He Cleanses Us

“Justified” = to declare righteous

Christ righteousness imputed to us!

3B.       He Completes Us

Sanctification

“glorified” = to hold in honor

For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. {4} When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
