1B. The Substance of the Gospel (17b)
“The word of (about) Christ”
About His Death, Burial and Resurrection
(2 Timothy 3:16‑17) All Scripture is God‑breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, {17} so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

(Psalms 19:1‑4) ...The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. {2} Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. {3} There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. {4} Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun,
. 2C. To every person
(Romans 1:18‑20) The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, {19} since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. {20} For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities‑‑his eternal power and divine nature‑‑have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
2B. God’s Persistance (19-20)
The Parable of the Tenants (Matthew 21:33-41)
3B. God’s Patience (20)
(Matthew 23:37) "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.
(2 Peter 3:9) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
APPLICATION
(Revelation 22:17) The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
