Isa 59:1-2

I. The cause of no Blessings or prayers not being answered Isa 59:1-2

A. God is not without power, it is that God will not entertain sin and wickedness.

B. God can hear.

II. Fact - God wants to bless us.

A. He promises to answer prayer -

John 14:13,14 - Belief: the clear promise to those who believe Jesus.
Matt 7:7-8 - Persevering Prayer: What is persevering prayer? It is asking, seeking, and knocking until the answer is received, found, or opened.
Matt 7:9-11
Romans 8:32 - God did not hold back or refrain from giving His Son; He did not refuse or even hesitate to give His Son. The picture is that of God weighing man’s eternal separation from Him against the sacrifice of His Son. He had a choice to make and He made it; He deliberately chose to sacrifice His Son for us.

Importance - Serve God with right attitude and right motives. The result - God will bless. Dan 3:16-18

Will you repent and trust Christ as saviour?

C. Now is the time to choose.
