power behind sin
predisposition toward a certain sin
we are told to lay aside besetting sins - ones that easily ensnare us.
Hebrews 12:1 NKJV
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
DNA - Is there truth to it? Do we look like our parents? Are there characteristics passed down? Does the BIble back this up?
Yes, we have dominion and authority, through the Word of God to walk in the light and victory.
Is deliverance Scriptural? Yes , but much of it is a need to crucify the flesh and renew our mind.

Natural Realm

James 1:13–15 NKJV
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
James 4:1 NKJV
Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?
accountability
removing ourselves from or as Paul says flee temptation
Renewing our mind
Crucify our flesh - 1 Peter 4:1
1 Peter 4:1 NKJV
Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

Spiritual Realm

Ephesians 6:12 NKJV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
John 10:10 NKJV
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Faith - take authority over the enemy.
Prayer - go to the elders of the church.
Confessions - speak God's word.
Galatians 3:13 NKJV
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),
