The church at Rome was known for its Spiritual reputation at this point. The genuineness of their salvation and their obedience unto the gospel was certainly known to all.
They were well aware I’m Sure that whatever happened in Rome, would be heard and seen by everyone everywhere.
Acts 18 Claudius even expelled all the Jews for the influence of the Christ
v9. Serve or worship with my Spirit. This wasnt out of fear or obligation it was out of sincerity!
Paul tells the church that because of their faithfulness and their testimony he will do his part and appeal on their behalf to almighty God.
Now we have to remember that every Word of Gods Word teaches us a lesson.
We’re All God’s Servants
We are prayer warriors for one another. We are Serving God together as a family with a common goal in mind - WE pursue the will of God.
What a great reminder for us tonight that the will of God, is over all.
it is His will you share the gospel
it is His will you serve the church
It is His will that you conduct yourself in Love
v11. spiritual gift: general blessings from God or specific spiritual gifts given to members of the body to minister to the whole.
James 1:17. Paul even says in Philippians that even if it cost him his life to win a soul then we should rejoice with him.
