As you reflect on Sunday’s sermon, what is one principle or insight that stood out to you as insightful, helpful, or even difficult to grasp or to apply to your life?
Engaging the Message:
When you receive news of a need, either for yourself or another, what is your reaction?
Paul knew that upon reception of this news the Philippians would go to praying for him.
Noah’s first action off of the ark was not running to find shelter or food but it was building an altar to praise God (Gen. 8:15-20)
How often do you pray, is it a priority? When you do, are you satisfied with the intimacy or your time in prayer or does it seem to be repetitive and empty? How can we develop a stronger prayer life?

Encourage them to talk about their weaknesses in their walk that we might join in asking God to help them. (Admit a weakness of your own to encourage them.)
Ask them, again, about ways that we can minister alongside and to our Church family and pray that the Lord would use them going forward to be a blessing.
