FOR THE PEOPLE WORKED WITH ALL THEIR HEART!
Nehemiah 4:6
INTRODUCTION
Historical Background
Temple had been rebuilt 61 years prior
Revival had taken place under the leadership of Ezra
(Ezra 10:1) While Ezra was praying and confessing, weeping and throwing himself down before the house of God, a large crowd of Israelites‑‑men, women and children‑‑gathered around him. They too wept bitterly.
The walls of the city had not been rebuilt!
The people had gotten sidetracked...(Haggai 1:4‑9)
God Raised up Nehemiah to Move the People Forward Again...
“For the people worked with all their heart...”
