SPECIAL FAMILY LORD'S SUPPER

PREPARATION

Prior to Service

1.         Ask Chairman and Vice-Chairman to set up at least two serving “stations.” These both should be supplied with an ample supply of both elements.

2.         Choose two deacons to read the scripture and bless the bread and cup respectively.

3.         Ask Chairman and Vice-Chairman to have their families sit at the front so that they may be the first ones served. Chairman and Vice-Chairman should remain at tables to serve any family without a male head.

4.         Encourage all deacons to sit with their families near the front.

During the Service

1.         None choir member deacons should serve as ushers and encourage families to sit together in the two center sections.

2.         Deacons should serve as ushers to receive the offering.

3.         Deacons who will read and pray are to come to the platform and utilize the hand held microphone.
