How to Reset for a Better Life

Psalm 1

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.” Matt.7:24-25 NLT

3 Better Choices for 2021...

1. Better Choose to Lose the Negative Influencers.

“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers.”

trouble.” Pro.13:20 NLT

2. Better Choose to Use God’s Word daily

“but whose delight is in the Law of the Lord, and who meditates on His Law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Ps.1:2-3 NIV

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night. Ps.1:2 AMP

“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” Josh.1:8 NLT

“When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.” John 15:8 NLT

“The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2Pet.1:8 NLT

3. Better Choose to Stay in View of God’s blessing.

“Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.”

Ps.1:4-6 NIV

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Pro.16:25 NKJV

“...Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.”

Jas.1:6-8 NLT
