THE WEDDING OF THE AGES!
Revelation 19:1-10
INTRODUCTION
In this great chapter we see a series of contrasts and comparisons.
These are given in two great events.
A wedding (1-10)
A war (11-21)
There are two suppers
One of happiness as the Lamb takes His beloved bride
The other of utter horror as vultures come to devour the human bodies killed at Armageddon.
There are two responses to Jesus Christ
One is the praise of God's righteous judgment
The other is the of blasphemy and bullets to resist the King's return.
There are two rewards
One a dazzling robe of white linen given to believers
The other the judgment on those who defy Christ.
