1 Thessalonians 2-3

INTRODUCTION

Who helped her accomplish her tasks?

Sometimes we are in a position to help others “Stand Firm” - WHO WILL HELP ME?

Four Ways to Help Others Stand Firm...

1A.       BE A GENUINE FRIEND (2:4-6a)

Make God’s approval your first priority (4a, c)

Recognize that genuine friends are gospel friends (4b)

Do not resort to flattery to win friends (5a)

Be careful not to be self-serving (greed) (5b)

Do not depend on or seek the praise of others as a motive for service. (6a)


2A.       BE A GENTLE FRIEND (2:6B-9)

APPLICATION
